My cousin Gary Muffley, flew Caribous into small special forces camps like Loch Ninh

Typical freight for the twin engined caribou aircraft was "live food" (in this case pigs). He often flew people as well. Some of the landing sites were so small that he would fly in, break hard, turn around and reposition the aircraft for immediate take off while it was unloaded. It was not uncommon to be "mortared" during this process.
